So much to do. So little time!........
With it's warm, temperate climate, sandy beaches, sheltered coves, picturesque fishing villages and historic harbours, no wonder the Cornish Riviera is one of the most popular holiday destinations in England.
Sheltered from the Atlantic sea providing a dramatic setting for the far West, the Southern coast has breathtaking valleys which sweep down to the sea, luxurious ga
rdens and sleepy fishing villages nestling in quiet sandy coves. Whitewashed cottages and narrow streets lead down to the picturesque harbour in Polperro.
Down the coast to Fowey and Falmouth, you can enjoy the most beautiful waters in Cornwall. The Cornish Riviera is the perfect base from which to take advantage of a wide variety of wonderful attractions. Cornwall has some of the finest beaches in the UK and in Europe. On this online guide you'll find maps, photos and details of facilities for all the main beaches.

Polperro Beach.
At low tide, the small sandy Polperro Beach appears as the waters of the Outer Harbour recede only to disappear again a few hours later as the tide returns.
Obviously it is a nice clean beach !
The other side of Peak Rock, the large rock that defends the entrance to the harbour, is Chaipel Pool, a part natural, part man-made sea water swimming pool.
There are many wonderful walks from Polperro, either eastwards towards Talland Bay or westerly towards Lansallos.
Every day from Easter until October there are ½ hour boat trips available along the coast and also fishing trips by arrangement or possibly on spec.
